If you have played at brick and mortar casinos, you have probably fallen victim to the magic of the casino and did not realize it until it was 8 in the morning the next day and you had been wagering all night long. Many of us have been there, and it is for sure a great activity to put in your bucket list if you have not gambled the night away, but it turns out that the magic of the casino can be explained quite simply. Today, we will talk about what could have possibly happen to make you unaware of time and space in a night full of fun.

Besides the obvious massive amount of fun you were having at the casino, there is something rather interesting that occurs at most land based casinos: there are no clocks around. If you are not wearing a watch and find yourself so into the game that you forget to check your smartphone, there is no way in which you will ever know what time it is. Casinos do not want you to know that you have been at the Blackjack tables for four hours, so it is common to not see any time-telling devices at casinos. Make sure you check next time you go to one, we honestly believe they do this on purpose.

The other misleading attribute of casinos is that they do not have windows. You probably have not noticed that land casinos do not have windows because they have great lightning, but the effect of this is that you will not be able to know if it is still night or if it is morning. Most casinos have indoor smoking areas with extractors, so it is rare for land casino players to see the light of day. The other purpose of the lack of windows is that there are no outdoors distractions: it is you and the games, all night long.

Finally, you may have noticed that it can be close to impossible to find your way out of a land casino. The slot machines and blackjack tables seem to appear everywhere, and there are few signs pointing to the exit. One of our team members recently found herself at a casino in Baltimore, and ended up getting lost for three hours on her way to the bathroom; one hour was spent finding the bathroom, the other two were spent at slot machines she came across on her way back.
