QuickFire, the Microgaming powered platform, has been instrumental in delivering Microgaming games to independent online casinos. To a lesser extent it has delivered third party content to Microgaming online casinos. Now QuickFire has announced a deal with Real Sports Global, which will bring innovative sports gambling content to more than 100 additional operators.

The deal involves 5050Sports, which is an innovative casino game owned by Real Sports Global. It allows players to bet on the outcome of exclusively-licensed archive sports footage. The football version of 5050Sports is being hosted by striker Michael Owen, who has represented England, and also clubs like Liverpool, Real Madrid and Manchester United. The initial offering will enable players to wager on video highlights from England and Brazil internationals and the FA Cup. 5050Sports will be offered in both full-game and mini-game formats with multi-lingual and multi-currency options for Microgaming’s international clientele.

Stuart Carr, CEO of Real Sports Global and the man behind 5050Sports said that partnering with QuickFire was a huge endorsement of their product. He added, “QuickFire’s rapid integration, prolific games roll out and global distribution will significantly increase coverage of 5050Sports in what is a key time for the betting and gaming industry.” He was referring to the FIFA World Cup being held in Brazil this summer.

Ashley Sandyford-Sykes, Head of QuickFire, also agreed with the timeliness of the deal. He said that it would be a huge advantage for Microgaming operators to be able to offer “a key differentiator”. This would help in attracting new players before, during and after the football World Cup. Michael Owen, the brand ambassador, said that he had played for England in the World Cup and knew what the excitement felt like. He added that many online players will get a taste of this excitement through 5050Sports ahead of this summer’s competition, thanks to this partnership between Real Sports Global and QuickFire.

5050Sports is not only about football. There are other sports that are being included in the QuickFire offering. Each variant of 5050Sports is hosted by an international sports star. The former Ashes-winning England captain Michael Vaughan will handle cricket. The multiple world title holder Ricky Hatton will handle boxing. The 2010 Open champion Darren Clarke will host the golf product. World Superbike legend Carl Fogarty will do motorsports and current No. 4 in the PDC Order of Merit Simon Whitlock will be in charge of darts.
