The technology, including the cameras and transmission equipment, is state of the art. The tables and gaming areas are custom made. An advanced control and monitoring centre will be used to coordinate the activities. The set-up includes a large dealer campus that will be used to train and develop the staff required to operate the hundreds of tables. Playtech has assured each of its licensees that they will have dedicated areas so that their customers are presented with the ultimate live casino experience.

Playtech has indicated that it will get many new licensees once the word of the new live casino studio spreads. Therefore, additional space has been set aside for new customers who will be signing up with Playtech Live. The new studio will start operations with the majority of Playtech's European live casino customers. Playtech will continue to operate its existing studios in the Philippines, Spain, Belgium and Romania.

Mor Weizer, CEO of Playtech, said, "This has been a huge undertaking but, more importantly, is a huge step forwards in live casino and one no other company except Playtech is capable of making.” He added that no other live casino supplier will be able to catch up with Playtech and therefore Playtech licensees will always have a competitive advantage in the live dealer gambling market.
