Playtech had launched its series of Age of the Gods slots based on Greek mythology to replace the Marvel superhero series. One of its key features was the randomly triggered the four-tier progressive jackpot. Over the last year Playtech had integrated the Age of the Gods brand with other casino products. Playtech has launched the new Age of the Gods Twister Poker game, which shares jackpot liquidity with the eight existing games in the series. Poker players will have a chance to randomly trigger the four-tier progressive jackpot with every hand played in this game. As the jackpot is independent of gameplay, players can still win even on a losing round as well as having the opportunity to win the main twister jackpot too.

The normal Twister Poker is a three-player game in which the winner takes all. The twister jackpot is a randomly decided multiple of the buy-in, up to a maximum of 100 x. Age of the Gods Twister Poker is a faster variation on the format. The starting stack consists of just five big blinds. A small amount from every buy-in goes towards the progressive jackpot. Playtech players will know that the largest tier, the Ultimate Power Jackpot, starts from €100,000. If the jackpot game is triggered before the tournament, the lucky player is guaranteed to win one of the four available jackpot prizes.
